Reigning in the Past
a brief and accidental encounter
igniting a waning
ember of remembrance.
apparitions
from the past re-emerge.
what I had known
now I do not.
convergence of two worlds
melding into one.
wanting to do
the right thing.
sometimes doing
other times not.
my head or my heart-
something is bound to explode!
competing against a foe
I can't beat (myself)
Thanks Hoff, for visiting me.. find the answer in one of the thoughts I would put on my blog tonight..you always need the help of your higher-self to beat yourself..well, on blog you may find the answer better. I shall follow you will you?

The head, or the heart? Always a struggle, especially in areas of relationship. Your poem puts the struggle to words.

ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by...I checked on your profile and there's nothing I would have to learn all about you! You're elusive huh! Do writers should?
