Floating

Following no apparent path

Languidly drifting

On the water

Aimlessly

Travelling along

Indiscriminately wandering

Never stopping it's nomadic journey

Gliding through time

floating,
but not flying-
wandering with no path,
or speeding
with a single -minded fury-
transparent,
but ominously suffocating
bringer of life-
harbinger of death...
how can something
brainless,
heartless,
souless
be so complex?

Trembling

Trepidation is the
Reason why
Every
Man and woman who are
Ballonists and
Love to float high
In the air
Never want to fall out of the
Gondola

Reign (OSI)

Reigning in the Past

a brief and accidental encounter

igniting a waning
ember of remembrance.
apparitions
from the past re-emerge.
what I had known
now I do not.
convergence of two worlds
melding into one.
wanting to do
the right thing.
sometimes doing
other times not.
my head or my heart-
something is bound to explode!
competing against a foe
I can't beat (myself)

come over here
you should see this
take your time
you won't be sorry
immerse yourself
before your eyes
an underlying layer of
beauty starts to unfold
rich and vibrant
the depth is amazing
so much more
than meets the eye
a majestically woven
tapestry of brilliance
unbelievable that it was here
waiting to be seen
only if you look
floating on a sea of blue
whether in a group
or individually
drifting constantly
being hunted
nowhere to hide
sometimes careening
into others
to avoid the inevitable
nothing helps
forever
casually or methodically
one by one
the end is the same
thrust into the dark abyss
starting with so many

only one remains

a boy
sits among the rubble
that used to be his life
using tears for mortar
to rebuild his world
years go by
the wall gets bigger
encircling him
taller and taller
it grows
tears drying up
years ago
doubt,
hate,
mistrust,
and apprehension
becoming mortar
for his wall
closing off the world
and protecting him
until felled
by the wrecking ball
